According to the story, Venti loves wine and is known for his free-spirited energy by the people of Mondstadt. During The Traveller’s quest to find The Seven, Venti befriends The Traveller though he finds the traveler’s ability to read his mind uncomfortable.

What is Venti’s personality like?
Venti is one among many bards who reside in Mondstadt. Like any other bard, Benti is free from the alleys and streets of Mondstadt. Venti is known for his free-spirited personality, so sometimes, he can seem uncooperative and rebellious. He has a very carefree attitude, and since he’s a bard, he tends to love playful rhymes in his speech.
He is very passionate about his role as a bard and sees his music as worthy of all hearing. He plays the lyre, which he lovingly named with the reason being, “every being deserves a name to be called upon, and woven into a song.” Being as bold as he is, Venti sometimes crosses the line and calls out those in power or at least supposedly more powerful than him and is likely to ignore them if he does not see them worthy of his attention.
Most of the people in Moon City are unaware that Venti is just using the Nameless Bard’s body as a vessel for his true self, that is, Barbatos. He freely roams around the streets, singing his songs and serenading the townspeople. His fame even got him the title of the “Most popular bard of Mondstadt” three times in a row.
As mentioned earlier, Venti loves to drink and is likely a character with very high alcohol tolerance. Throughout the story, it is implied that Venti’s alcoholism results from his dear friend’s death during the rebellion and a way for him to cope with the sadness. A fun fact about Venti is that he is allergic to cats, and so he never performs his songs in places where there might be the possibility of cats present.
Despite his playful personality, he becomes a philosophically wise bard when he reverts to his true identity as Barbados. He is an original member of The Seven and has had many experiences, making him very knowledgeable. Venti is also known for revealing his identity whenever someone needs help because his conscience of life is far greater than his identity secret.
