First of all, you need to get a plain white button-up shirt. You may choose between short sleeves or long sleeves, but since 9S’s shirt has a rolled-up sleeve on the left arm, you will need to get a long sleeve shirt.
The Pants
Next, get yourself some plain black pants that have no patterns or other details. There are plenty of options to choose from, so just pick one from your own wardrobe.

For the shoes, you need a pair of black leather lace-up shoes. You can wear socks with them or wear your bare feet; it doesn’t matter. The only thing you have to make sure of is that they’re all black and don’t have any patterns on them. If you want a cheaper alternative, then just get a pair of plain black shoes with laces and paint or buy a pair of black boots that cover the ankle.
The Lace for Belt and Shoes
To decorate your belt and to make it more secure, you need leather lace. Cut two long strands of this leather lace and use a lighter to melt the tips, so they don’t fray apart. After that, use a drill with a 1mm drill bit to make holes in your shoes.
The Belt
Next up is the belt. You will need a silver paint marker and a buckle for the belt. If you don’t have a buckle already, then you can buy one easily at any hardware store or online.
We also recommend using a silver paint marker because it’s cheaper than buying paint and takes less time to dry.
The Gloves
For the gloves, you need two black cotton gloves. Just get any pair of black cotton gloves you can find and cut off one of the fingers to make it look like 9S’s fingerless gloves. You will also need silver tape or elastic bands to create the pieces that go on your arms. We recommend using silver elastic bands because they’re easier to put on.

Another option is to search for a smaller bag that looks like 2B/9S’s bag and then decorate that with silver tape.
Sword
For this costume, you will need a prop sword. You can easily buy one online or just make it yourself if you have the time! Just get a plain black piece of foam board or cardboard and paint it silver. Make sure that the blade is 1cm thick because 9S’s weapon has a long thin handle that adds up to the total length.
